Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Amphelyx platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Amphelyx provides a privacy-first AI platform that enables organizations to deploy AI assistants with document processing, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-LLM support. The Service includes both cloud-hosted and self-hosted deployment options.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
  • Use the Service to process data in a manner that violates the privacy rights of third parties.

5. Your Data

You retain all rights to your data. We do not access, use, or share your documents, prompts, or AI-generated outputs except as necessary to provide the Service. For self-hosted deployments, your data remains entirely on your infrastructure.

For our cloud-hosted offering, all data processing occurs on European servers. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for details.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by Amphelyx and protected by intellectual property laws. AI outputs generated through the Service belong to you, the user.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amphelyx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will provide you with a reasonable period to export your data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of our registered country of incorporation. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
